Start SONIVIS in Eclipse

Please make sure you started MySQL if you want to use a database connection. (following the instructions from

• Dear Linux users make sure you started Eclipse through the script: ./startupEclipse.

To start SONIVIS in Eclipse we bundled all plug-ins that SONIVIS is made of in a product:

de.sonivis.tool.installer/SONIVIS_tool.product

Please choose this package in the Eclipse explorer as seen in the upper screenshot (1). Then open SONIVIS_tool.product (2). On the right hand side the product opens.

Click on "Launch an Eclipse application" (see screenshot below) to start SONIVIS. If you want to debug SONIVIS click on "Launch an Eclipse application in Debug mode".
